Disability Support Worker

Unidex actively recruit for all areas in the healthcare field specialising in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.

The Role:
We are currently looking for Disability Support Workers to work with a client in Dalby, Qld. Our participant is an amputee with loss of left arm, left forefoot, right leg below knee, PTSD and requires medium to high intensity care. Applicants with prior experience of working with similar clients will be highly regarded. This is a casual ongoing position with no end date in sight.

We can offer both part-time and full-time hours to the right applicants. This will be an ongoing position with no end date in sight.


  • Day shift - 10:00am to 4:00pm, (Monday to Friday)


Pay Rates:


· Day shift $40.00 per hour

· Saturday shift $56 per hour

· Sunday shift $72 per hour

· $0.96 travel allowance (applies only when travelling with participant to and from appointments).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assistance with personal care
  • Medication Prompting
  • Supervision/assistance during meal time
  • Assistance with domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry & meal preparation
  • Assistance with Health & Rehab exercises
  • Community access + rehab appointments
  • Capacity Building and Companionship

Skills & Experiences:

  • Australian Driver Licence + own vehicle
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current NDIS Screening Card or Yellow Card
  • Current Blue Card
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Reliable, proactive and positive attitude
