General Hand - Assembler - Factory Hand

The Role

FHR have multiple General Hand opportunities for our client located in Yatala, 4207, QLD. We have immediate starts available for the candidates who are successful in their application for these positions. We're currently recruiting for an AM and PM shift. Please be advised that we're unable to proceed with any applicants who have limited working rights in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling and packing of glass products used in both industrial and commercial settings
• Assisting in maintaining accurate inventory records, including stock counts and location tracking.
• Loading/unloading of products that are in the warehouse
• Assisting with assembly of products when required
• Strictly follow safety guidelines and protocols, including proper equipment maintenance, load securement, and awareness of the surrounding environment, to promote a secure workplace and prevent accidents

Desirable skills & experience

• Previous experience as an assembler
• Previous experience in a role as a machine operator or labourer
• Previous experience using hand tools/power tools
• Previous experience in a General Hand role
